DMG can be used to increase stamina. When given in combination with PEAK STAMINA , it also increases oxygen levels in the blood and delays the formation of lactic acid. The horse can therefore perform at its best for longer.

Notes on muscular energy

The basic source of energy for the muscles of all animals is the conversion of the energy-rich molecule ATP (adenosine triphosphate) into ADP (adenosine diphosphate, C ₄ H ₉ NO ₂ ). Two types of metabolic actions produce this energy conversion process: aerobic energy production (which requires oxygen) and anaerobic energy production (which does not require oxygen).

There are two anaerobic processes:

The phosphagen system produces ATP without harmful byproducts. The phosphagen system is an energy supply system in human and animal metabolism that plays a crucial role in short-term and intense activities . It is part of anaerobic metabolism and enables the rapid production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the primary energy source for cellular processes. The phosphagen system particularly includes the compound creatine phosphate (CP).

The glycolysis system produces a byproduct in the form of lactic acid. Lactic acid builds up in cells and inhibits the production of ATP. This can prevent a horse from performing at maximum endurance. DMG facilitates the delay in the build-up of lactic acid.

Feeding instructions, recommended dosage:

• Maintenance feeding program: 25 ml per day.
• Intensive working feeding program: 50 ml per day.
• Add it in food, water or orally using the included syringe.
